Apple & Cinnamon Scones

The perfect afternoon treat, sit back and enjoy with a warming cup of tea.


  • 530 g plain flour
  • 170 g butter
  • 70 g caster sugar
  • 25 g baking powder
  • 200 g peeled and diced apples
  • 15 g cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 170 ml milk


  • Heat your oven to 150° centigrade
  • Add all the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix together
  • Add in the butter and rub with your fingertips until you get fine breadcrumbs
  • Add in the diced apple
  • Add in the eggs and milk and mix until a soft dough is created
  • Sprinkle a small amount of flour on your table and roll out the dough with a rolling pin
  • Using a small round cutter cut out the scones until you have no dough left
  • Place in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes
