Craigies Farm offers one of the best butchers near Edinburgh with the re-launch of our in-house artisan butchers counter! Embracing a traditional butchery service, we are proud to offer locally-sourced ‘meat within a mile’ to customers.
The butcher counter will be stocked with cuts from Craigies own pork and lamb, with grass-fed Highland cattle beef coming from the herd on the neighbouring Dalmeny Estate.
With so many shoppers starting early to spread the cost of Christmas this year, we have already stocked both our online store and farm shop. So don’t delay in getting your order in – and don’t forget the all-important turkey!
Christmas orders can be made up until Sunday 10th December for delivery up till 24th December, or you can book for click & collect for a convenient festive shopping experience.

The Sinclair family, tenants of Craigies Farm, have a long-standing connection to livestock. John Sinclair’s, Great Grandfather George arrived at Dalmeny Estate in the late 1800s and established a world class Aberdeen Angus herd, John’s son, George proudly carries on the family legacy.
Having raised pigs from a young age, George has a herd of 150 sheep, demonstrating commitment to quality farming practices.
Craigies butchery will be supplied by George’s own livestock of high-quality Dorset Cross Suffolk Lambs & Landrace Cross Large White Pigs.
