Apple & Cinnamon Scones
Ingredients
- 530 g plain flour
- 170 g butter
- 70 g caster sugar
- 25 g baking powder
- 200 g peeled and diced apples
- 15 g cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- 170 ml milk
Instructions
- Heat your oven to 150° centigrade
- Add all the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix together
- Add in the butter and rub with your fingertips until you get fine breadcrumbs
- Add in the diced apple
- Add in the eggs and milk and mix until a soft dough is created
- Sprinkle a small amount of flour on your table and roll out the dough with a rolling pin
- Using a small round cutter cut out the scones until you have no dough left
- Place in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes
