George’s Eton Mess

Enjoy a delicious sweet treat after a day of picking fruit on the farm!
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 5 minutes
Servings 4

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Large Meringues
  • 500 g Strawberries hulled & chopped
  • 500 ml Double Cream
  • 1 tbsp Icing Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Blitz 1/3 of the strawberries to make a strawberry sauce.
  • In a large bowl, whisk the cream & icing until it holds its shape.
  • Roughly crush one meringue & tip it in with your strawberries & stir.
  • Then swirl through the strawberry sauce.
  • Dollop into bowls then break the other meringue shell into quarters & place on top!
