George’s Eton Mess
Ingredients
- 2 Large Meringues
- 500 g Strawberries hulled & chopped
- 500 ml Double Cream
- 1 tbsp Icing Sugar
Instructions
- Blitz 1/3 of the strawberries to make a strawberry sauce.
- In a large bowl, whisk the cream & icing until it holds its shape.
- Roughly crush one meringue & tip it in with your strawberries & stir.
- Then swirl through the strawberry sauce.
- Dollop into bowls then break the other meringue shell into quarters & place on top!
