Festive foodies, get ready to elevate your celebration this year with only the very best Christmas food and drink from Craigies Farm.
Run by passionate fourth-generation farmer, John Sinclair, as a family-run farm we are bringing you a Christmas feast like no other – right from our fields to your festive table.
At Craigies, our commitment to quality and sustainability shines through. We are on a mission to reduce food miles by growing our own produce or sourcing from local suppliers. Picture this: high-quality, locally grown veggies, and mostly Scottish-sourced goodies for a Christmas celebration that’s not only delicious, but a bit greener too.
From farm to fork: The Sinclair standard
When it comes to top-quality Christmas meats, we don’t mess around! George Sinclair raises our own pork and lamb right here on the farm, ensuring the highest standards of quality and provenance.
And for delicious Highland beef, we source this directly from the neighbouring Dalmeny Estate. The result? Fresh, top-notch meat prepared by our skilled team of on-site artisan butchers.
Veggies galore – straight from the fields
Get ready to fill your shopping basket with the freshest vegetables, with loads of them cultivated on Craigies Farm. From potatoes and cabbage to cauliflower and carrots, you can buy them loose or opt for convenient oven-ready Christmas sides like traditional roast potatoes and maple-roasted root vegetables.
Plus, don’t miss out on the delicious Craigies range of homemade condiments – including windfall apple chutney, red onion marmalade, and festive spiced cranberry sauce!
Indulge your sweet tooth!
If you’re a dessert lover, Craigies has you covered with a tempting selection of home-baked goods. Dive into classic Christmas cake, treat yourself to an indulgent chocolate yule log, and savour the perfection of traditional mince pies. Other homemade treats include black forest cheesecake – yum!
Supporting local artisans
Craigies Farm Shop proudly showcases products from local Scottish producers, including Ramsay of Carluke bacon, Mellis artisan cheeses, and Cairn O’Mohr craft wine. It’s not just a shopping experience; it’s a celebration of local flavours and craftsmanship.
Products from our suppliers also feature in our range of gifting hampers. From a Mellis cheese board to a pack of gluten-free goodies, we have something for everyone! Go all out with our epic Scottish Delights Hamper or gift a tower of our homemade jams or chutneys.
The main event: Turkey
For the star of the show, Craigies is stocking free-range, organically reared turkeys from Northumberland Poultry, a fellow family-run farm. In addition, you can opt for a capon chicken or free-range duck to complete your festive spread. Get ready for a mouthwatering main course that will have everyone coming back for seconds!
Toys and gifts for Little Farmers
And it’s not just about the food – Craigies Little Farmers on-site toy shop is a treasure trove of delightful toys and unique gifts. From high-quality Bruder farm toys to Orange Tree wooden toys and adorable Keel cuddly toys, there’s something special for every little one on your list.
