Apple & Cinnamon Scones
The perfect afternoon treat, sit back and enjoy with a warming cup of tea.
- 530 g plain flour
- 170 g butter
- 70 g caster sugar
- 25 g baking powder
- 200 g peeled and diced apples
- 15 g cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- 170 ml milk
Heat your oven to 150° centigrade
Add all the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix together
Add in the butter and rub with your fingertips until you get fine breadcrumbs
Add in the diced apple
Add in the eggs and milk and mix until a soft dough is created
Sprinkle a small amount of flour on your table and roll out the dough with a rolling pin
Using a small round cutter cut out the scones until you have no dough left
Place in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes
